Spiritual Healing

The definition of healing in Websters is the process of making or becoming sound or healthy again.

Some would say that the biblical definition of healing is healing through divine intervention as a response to prayer or because of faith, a method employing prayer or faith in the hopes of receiving such healing.

Spiritual healing can be defined more than one way. Spiritual healing is about finding a connection to something greater than yourself whatever that may be for you. I choose that connection to be God others are more than welcome to choose differently if they so desire. But more and more frequently we are seeing people turn to a more holistic approach to healing.

We as a society are not just relying on doctors to make us well. We are reaching out to find more natural ways to heal ourselves. I have seen more people praying or asking for prayer to heal a loved one or for situations that are affecting their lives. People are realizing that not only do we need doctors but we need prayer to heal. Without prayer, in my opinion, we would be lost. Prayer is a very powerful tool to receive healing. When you pray for healing most of us are praying for healing of the body, mind and spirit or soul of the individual. Spiritual healing comes when you speak to God and have a relationship with him.in order to be healed all these must lineup and only then will we receive our true healing.
